Poland Ukraine is ready to sell weapons and military equipment
Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski announced its readiness to assist Ukraine in arms and military equipment.
He said this at a press conference after talks with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, said Tvn24.
Bronislaw Komorowski said that Poland is open in case of sale of weapons Ukraine that Ukraine is not bound in this matter by any sanctions and that he was only waiting for the appropriate step Ukraine.
“I know that you are very interested in questions about weapons. So I will say that I have never heard that there was some arms embargo against Ukraine. If Ukraine is interested in this, then, of course, Poland completely open to such talk “,” – he said, quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
In addition, he stressed that Poland fully supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty.
The Polish president said that Poland will help Ukraine in strengthening the defense sector and security sector. In particular, according to Komorowski, the parties create a Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian brigade.
“This is not a team that should go to war against Basin, this should be a team in which the Ukrainian army will gain experience that will need to continue the process of approaching armies of NATO standards,” – said the Polish president.
Earlier, the Polish Foreign Minister said that there are no restrictions on arms supplies to Ukraine, we need only interest in the Ukraine.
